You Are Your Vibrations

It was 12 years ago, my son and I were riding our motorcycle that one night. Then out of nowhere, a deer ran out and hit my leg….which sent me rolling off the road and broke many bones on my body. But surprisingly, my son was Ok. After I fell off the bike, my , then, 13 year old son was still sitting in the back seat, the motorcycle was still in motion and moved forward until it hit something and stopped. My son walked away with a few minor scratches. Of course, I never walked the same again. But hey, I’m alive, I’m in good health, and I still ride my bike nowadays! Many blessings indeed

Bob works at a printing shop down the street from Be-Em’s, so he’s a frequent flyer here. His go-to are either Hawaiian Poke bowl with brown rice or Chicken Pho on one of those gloomy, yucky days :) Oh, and a Mango Crush Tea is a must !

One day while working on my mountain of paperwork, Bob walked by and we chatted for a bit, and I know he often dined by himself so I invited him to sit down that day. And that marked the day that I met my ‘enlightenment buddy’! Not even sure how it all started (most of my stories often started with this very line …I honestly not sure how it all started, no lies), he told me about this motorcycle accident story, then I shared with him my projects at Be-em’s, then it led to our fav books, then the many random jobs he’s done in his life all over the world, then that one time that I ‘almost’ reached enlightenment, and his ‘enlightenment’ experience. And on that random afternoon, I think Bob took a 2-hour lunch and I almost didn’t make it back in time to pick up my kids at the bus stop!

I think on that beautiful afternoon, Bob and I vibrated on the same frequency …we made a pact to dine together once a month so we could continue our much needed conversation about our fav books, our ‘almost enlightened’ moments, and many other life stories
